Role Description: The Lead Optometrist will oversee clinical operations and provide full-scope optometry services. This role includes flexible working hours from Monday to Saturday. The position involves working with advanced diagnostic equipment within a supportive team environment and collaborating closely with local ophthalmologists to enhance patient care.
Clinic Features:
- Three fully-equipped exam lanes.
- Advanced diagnostic tools including Maestro OCT, Lensmeter, Humphrey Visual Field, Optomap, and Tonometer III.
- Strong collaborative ties with local healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive eye exams and specialized optical services.
- Lead and manage clinic staff and operations.
- Foster and maintain excellent patient relationships.
- Engage in community initiatives to promote vision health.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in LASIK, eye exams, and additional relevant optometric skills.
- Experience in managing a clinical setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Licensed to practice optometry in Ontario.
